Hello and welcome to Gods of High School!
First, some general rules for roleplaying on this website.
1. You can claim any god you would like, but there can only be one of each god. We are going to do this on a first come first served basis. Feel free to also choose from any heroes, named monsters, or demigods from whichever mythology you would like. Roman and Greek variations can be 2 separate gods, you just need to specify which you are claiming. (Hades/Pluto, Zeus/Jupiter, Poseidon/Neptune, etc.)
2. There is no pressure to post. Post whenever and however much you feel like posting. *There will however be specific school events throughout the year with specific time constraints. If you would like to participate in those, you will need to post during the events.*
3. No god-moding. Though the characters started off as gods and can occasionally show their powers (as Nox allows), no character is inherently more powerful than any other.
4. If you are going to engage another player character in combat, you will need to figure out the outcome between the two of you as you are fighting. There aren't going to be any statistics on this site, so no god is going to have an advantage over any other. (They're all high school students)
5. No controlling other players actions, but NPCs are up for grabs. Just stay true to their character descriptions. (I.E. if Hestia is the nurse, she's obviously going to be a warm and motherly figure, she's not going to be hurting students.)
6. Keep it SFW. Swearing is fine. Bullying will not be tolerated (if its character driven, that's one thing, but harassing or cyber-bullying other players is prohibited.) Racial or homophobic slurs will result in an instant ban.
7. Have fun. This was designed to be a creative, fun outlet, giving everyone a chance to role-play as the gods themselves!
